How can I make my HDTV crispier with a regular antenna?
Thanks
Answer:
It would be nice if you use the add details feature and tell us the make and model of your TV.
Well a HD tv picture quality is clearer when it receives programming which are HDTV compatible, sure it can also receive the regular programming for the normal TVs and the picture quality will be much superior compared to normal TVs, but it will be not running to it`s fullest capacity, what u need here is a HDTV set top box (provided by your cable service provider) connected to your TV to receive programs which are compatible with the HDTV and also the normal programming. You can feel the difference then.
Are you getting HD signal at all? or just NTSC?
The problem might be that you don't have an HD-tuner.
If it's an old TV it probably is HD-Ready, not HDTV.
If it is really is an HDTV then you need 'over the air' antenna or have a service with cable (you will get a cable box) or satellite service. You will get many, many more stations with satellite or cable.
If it's HD-Ready, then you have to go to cable or satellite and they will equip you with a box that will make your TV HD.
you cant with a regular antenna but tv stations now send digital signals (along with analog) that can be picked up with digital antennas. Seems like the best way for you to go.
