Which is better?
I know the sony has PC input which the panasonic doesn't.
Panasonic is much cheaper.
I want to know which have the better quality for HD and analog cable.
Answers: Sony is an excellent factory owner. So is Panasonic. Customer service for those products is most often a function of a distributor, not the capitalist, and distributor for Sony could just as effortlessly also be a distributor for Panasonic. As a purist with 30 years experience contained by professional video technology, I can always recommend Sony in need knowing the specific product. But I can also feel comfortable in the order of Panasonic just on their brand designation alone.
For the two products you mentioned, I can't say. But consider that test comparing the two would require high-end equipment that can measure things that the eye can't see, so what does it business if you can't SEE the difference? So the choice boils down to this: The reliance on brand loyalty (reasonable in this case) or paying more for what you don't call for.

I have a friend who fixes electronics and he told me years ago that Sony make very moral products but that the parts are terrible to seize. You end up waiting months for parts and the customer service is discouraging. I personally never purchase Sony products for this source.
