What are John lewis like as a company? Compared to Comet?

I am debated which to buy my tv from? What are the warranties like for tv's?

Answer:
John Lewis is one of the most reputable companies in UK. Whether or not they do warranties, I don't know - but most goods come with a Manufacturer's Waranty. The Comet - type warranties are generally considered to be a rip-off

(ps: Waitrose are part of the John Lewis partnership - so comparing them to ASDA wasn't far off the mark.)
Dunno about warrnaties but Comet are lousy if anything goes wrong in my limited experience

Id go to Argos mate, cant go wrong with them
John Lewis the Rolls Royce compared Comet.
John Lewis is one of the very few really trustworthy companies. I'm pretty sure they do warranties etc but you need to go to one of their stores and ask. The staff are very helpful (so I have found) and will give you good advice. You certainly won't be sold a pup.
As Waitrose is to Asda.
John lewis have some morals
You have pay a bit extra for this quality of service though. Most things in the store will be more expensive. It is for people who think asda/comet is not good enough for them
