I'm getting no signal on my tv, what do i have to do?
Answer:
ok, so you have digital with a box ... so check to make sure that your video or input is on the correct source.
There should be a button the remote that came w/ your tv that says either, tv/video, source, input ... press that and go through all the sources to see if that pulls in the cable signal.
If that doesn't work, make sure your tv itself is on ch. 3
still no signal ... check the connections on your box, tv, and wall ...
1 - slap it around
2 - call the cable people
if you have bunny ear get an amplifyed set for cable call the cable guy
pay your cable bill
Before you even start panicking or thinking of getting a new tv or satellite call your local cable guy.
auto search on the tv or maybe your signal is not getting to the house so call in the tv people
Is your TV turned on?
Do you have cable or conventional tv? You should state what type you are using not everyone uses cable I don't. Since I don't have cable if my tv had no signal I would check the power cord and make sure it is plugged in to the ac outlet.Maybe you have cable so call your cable repair guy, I hear they are not very busy and would love to go to your house and fix your tv problem.
Actually if you have Satellite TV they are often knocked off the air. You have to turn off the main power for 1 minute turn everthing back on and hold down the DSS button for 45 seconds and wait for the tv to recycle takes about 3 minutes.
If it is cable or antenna call the repair man.
