HDTV and cable?
My question are
What kind of cable pack do i need for my strange tv?
Do i have to hold the HD cable channels?
Answers: You dont obligation to pay for HD programming if you dont want it. If you do want to appropriate full advantage of your unsullied set's capabilities, later you will need to retribution for the HD channels.
I'd any get a cheaper tv or spring for the HD channel.
I,m sorry not sure what your question is but 1st of adjectives DONT BUY A EMERESON TV. Sorry saw that and had to attain that off my chest. Emereson is roughly speaking as low on quality your going to take. Now to read your problem, give me a sec. OK you dont own to have HD channel. But most new sets built today are built for carrying HD. If you buy one and seize it home and dont hook up to HD it wont look like it did contained by the store. LCD and Plasmas as well as DLP should be on HD or the picture will be poor contained by most cases.
Well FIRST....You do NOT need an ATSC tuner built INTO your TV set. You single need an HD monitor.....That will retrieve you money on the tuner.
SINCE you have cable, the CABLE's tuner box is a NECESSITY to take HD channels, and even DIGITAL channel!
So YES....you do have to rent the Cable Box...
And when they come out to install the cable box, they present a FREE HDMI cable with it....Get that cable.
Now, if you own a choice of VERIZON TV or Fiber Optic TV in Kansas City, I really recommend that over plain antediluvian cable....it's a Cleaner/Clearer signal on all the Low Definition TV stations.
You will have need of the HD package to steal FULL advantage of the TV's skill. But it will still work just fine beside just the standard carton.
HD is an improvement but, within my opinion, not so much to be worth the complex cost. I have an 70" HD set but individual subscribe to standard cable because it's good ample for me. It looks the same as TV other did before HD come along and that's all I want. (Why would I wages more for a car that can run 190 mph when I only drive contained by the city?)
