The remote control has battery that work. Everything is securely plugged within. There doesn't seem to be an on/off button on the actual freeview box or a reset button. When I turn the tv on a box comes up motto 'The software is updating. Please press exit to cancel'. But the box isn't responding when I press exit! help please!
Answers: My antiquated freeview box used to do that. I had to replace it as it be frozen more than it worked.
They're really not made to last -if its justly new consequently I'd take it hindmost to where you bought it and ask for a replacement. One item I'd suggest is switching it off at the plug at bedtime - they overheat when on adjectives the time (even on standby) and this seems to hold worked well on my most recent freeview box.
Are you asking if it isn't working? Because you said, AND I QUOTE, "My freeview box isn't working?" Heck if we know!
