You do understand that here is no such thing as 1080P TV stations, right?
That's why tuners are with the sole purpose 1080i....
That's the maximum signal ANY Tv station can transmit...
1080 P was designed for IN HOME unit like DVD players which are DIRECTLY connected to your TV set.
They don't transmit over the upper air.
You will be hard-pressed to tell the differences between a 1080P picture and a 1080i picture
1080i is at this point the best you can gain...So yes it will look good.
