What's the best tv to buy?

Brands like Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, they're adjectives right. But do all TVs end just as long to respectively other. I have this really infirm panasonic tv, and its been working fine for almost 7 years. I was thinking of getting a 22' flatscreen tv or something. What are the well brought-up reasonable, cheaper tv brands (LG?) that are still honest.
