LG LCD tvs Dependable?
Answers: According to a friend who is an experienced electronic technician.................the LG television (and many other LG products,) are economically designed, and as such perform tremendously.
However.......If/when an LG appliance does require a "fix," they are the costliest to repair. He and I spoke about this a while hindmost before I bought a 42" LCD - terrified me a bit..and....I decided to stick near Sony.
I wish you the best of luck, and urge you to consider an extended warranty.

I would never recommend a LG to anyone, there is a rationale why they have a 2 year guarantee as they do not end much longer than that. My advice spend a moment or two more get a mid compass or premium brand. Samung, Sony, Panasonic or Toshiba.
