Help! Damage to my LCD TV peak.?
Answers: There is no "protective" peak on LCD TVs. There are two screens an inner and an outer next to gel in between. The peak is damaged. Let it alone it cannot be repaired. Do not mess near it or you will make it worse. Live near or buy a new TV. This time return with a plasma , the screen is cup.
Dealer nor manufactures aint gonna explain to you this but LCDs are very fragile , tremendously breakable. If you LIGHTLY rub your finger over the ouside screen and fell nought it just technique your inner screen is tatty causing the "spot"/ Probablly you own one of those fragile Sony Bravias.
It sounds like she may own damaged the LCD-there's a protective blind on most LCDs-if the tv is off and you don't see any damage-its a possibility that she may enjoy just bent the outer blind into the LCD which puts pressure on the LCD making a shadow effect. If thats it-all you have to do is integer out a way to verbs the outer screen away from the LCD minus actually wounding it. I would recommend taking the TV(if you can) to a local repair shop and getting the problem diagnosed professionally. She may have in actuality caused wounded.
