I plugged the cable cord into the back of my Sony Trinitron and I get a picture, but no sound.?

How do I get the audio to work?

Answer:
there are a few different possibles.First check the audio setting in the menu see if the speaker is on. then check the back of the set ( depending on what Sony there might be 3 cable inputs in the back .. i think u need to use the one marked cable box... not aux and not UHF.. if memory serves... are you straight in is there a VCR connected? cable box?
Look for a small button on the back that says "internal speakers on/off".
That's there so if you had an audio cable hooked to your audio-out, you could shut off the internal speakers. That button pushes in and out, so try pushing it & see what happens. Good Luck.
