I can hear electronic devices when they are turned on, approaching tvs. Is it purely me?

I don't mean that i cna hear that the volume is up any, just this elevated pitched noise. Its really annoying and not a soul else i know can hear it.

Answers:    that guy is cheap... Yes some people's ears perceive higher frequencies than others, however highly few people can hear a terribly broad range of frequencies at the smooth that you can. I'll bet you hate riding on airplanes, they hold all kind of high frequencies, that's why animals abhorrence flying, they're ears don't adjust to the pressure like humans, and the frequecies of shot props will drive them nuts because they're so loud.
I can hear it too, so don't worry, you're fine :) Some people's ears are only just more sensitive than others. It's nothing to verbs about, only annoying :)
