I have a old sony trintron tv. maybe about 7 years old or older. I bought it im USA and i live in USA.
Answer:
Usually TV in US is NTSC other wise it won't be able to receive any signal since broadcast in US is NTSC format.
But your TV can be multy system TV (can receive any kind of signal).
When you bought the TV usually there's information about this in the manual, or even in the packaging box.
There will be a label on the back of the tv that indicates what type of tv it is (NTSC/PAL/SECAM).
NTSC is for USA.
