What makes the TV screen turn reddish when your watching it?
Answer:
Do I understand your question ? does the colour start off ok then turns pinkish while you are watching ? if that is the case then you have a condition called " poor white uniformity " setting up the purity assembly on the tube neck is needed, this is not a job for the novice though, it needs a service manual that describes the procedure which has to be followed very carefully. Good luck with this one ! Cheers Pete.
Perhaps the red color level needs to be adjusted downward?
If your TV is a CRT tube type (not the new LCD or Plasma flat panel) then you will find that magnets will make the screen colours go all strange. There are big magnets in speakers. If you put speakers (particularly large stereo ones) near your TV it might make it go red in some areas.
Its not... Your eyes are turning reddish from drinking while staying up way tooo late watching TV!
Actually if your using a CRT as opposed to LCD or plasma, the CRT monitors have 3 guns, red, green and blue. They are technically called electron guns and they give off the light that hits the screen from inside.
Sometimes the power supply starts to go bad and it affects the guns differnetly. Others times the guns just wear out. Red would be ther result of both the green and blue guns beginning to die.
