A second cable connection?
Answer:
I use something called a video sender. its a wireless gizmo that you hook up to one tv and it will send a cable signal to a second one. It's actually a pretty neat little thing... i bought mine online, i think through www.x10.com. maybe this will work for you?
If it's possible run a wire down through the basement and then up through the floor into the bedroom. If you're still living in an apartment, ask the landlord if its possible. He might be able to hook it up for you. You'll also need a spliter for the wire (its basically and adapter so you can have more than one cable line).
If that doesn't work, If you have carpeting, tape the wires down underneath the carpeting if it is possible with duct tape or something similar. It will keep it out of the way.
Aside from paying to have another outlet installed, try hiding the wires under the baseboards. Works especially nice if your apartment is carpeted. It's not 100% hidden but you won't be tripping either. Just push them under, most wires fit nicely.
I just moved into my new apartment and had the same problem what I did was just go to the nearest corner other side of the bedroom and drill a hole in the wall just above the baseboard and run the wire thru there beleive me the landloard will never know about it saves alot of time and just place coax caps so it looks nice so when you ever move the landlord wont even notice it and if he does he wont complain if the plugs are there I do it for all my friends in there apartments its clean looking and when you move the new people will be grateful
