51 INCH -- Hi Def -- Projection CRT
$800 NEW. $300 is about what you'll pay to repair it 7-10 years down the road..
That's $1000 for 12 to 18 years of life expectancy
NOW.Let's compare this to an LCD TV of the same size...LCD is the next most reliable TV with the LEAST repairs..
LCD TV with 1080 native resolution..$2500
Cost of repair...you do it yourself. $250 every 3 years
That's about $1000 for the same lifetime (I'm being realistic)
So, YOU have $3500 in an LCD OR $1000 in a CRT projection TV..
Both have the same resolution.
