Hi, I have a Samsung LE32R41BD 32" LCD, and the remote has stopped working on all but the volume.?

I have replaced the batteries (inc. a set from a new packet), but no other controls work.
It will not switch on from stand-by and when on, pressing the controls results in the LED on the on/off button flickering (which would suggest to me that the TV is getting a signal), but nothing happening.
Please help as I now need to get up off my fat *** when my 15 mth old son switch the TV off!!

Answer:
Sounds like your remote has been put into another mode (to operate a DVD or cable box, for example) instead of the one for the TV. Just read the book, learn about programming it for different units. Chances are, there's a button near the top that says "TV"... if you press that, it should work fine.
You just need to hit the TV button, my daughter switches ours into different modes all the time.
Try a universal remote. And when you get your origional remote fixed you can lose two remotes in your couch.
