What can i do too BOOST my cable signal without calling a TECH, or the company?

Answer:
You need what the cable guys call a drop amplifier. Stay away from the cheap ones. I bought one for 29.00 at Radio Shack and returned it the next day. I ended up getting a Motorola brand amplifier for about 75.00 (50.00 after rebate) from Circuit City. It works very well.
You can buy a in-line signal amp. They have them radio shack i think. Good Luck!
A line amplifier is a good idea, but first check all the wiring from the connection at your property line to the TV. If you find any rusty or painted over connectors or splitters, replace them first, then check the signal at your TV and see if you still need to go hunting for amplifiers.
