Tv antennae examine?
Answers: Get your antenna UP as HIGH as you can catch it.....
Then buy a 20db RF amplifier at Radio Shack and connect it between your antenna and your TV set....
That should get you your channel, or MOST of them.....
hey I've not had tv local or cable for 5yrs! acquire a metal clothes hanger , stretch it out and wrap it in tin foil.
not possible, might as well spend the $35 bucks or so and place it surrounded by the attic.
good blog below
If your getting pure snow next boosting it wont be enough. You will call for a bigger antenna.
If you have an attic, you can buy a big antenna and hook it up and stick it surrounded by there if you dont wanna go and get someone to profesh install it, and run a cable from the attic to the tv.
I suggest that you start by collecting some information:
1. Enter your address at the first two web sites programmed below. This will give you some opinion of what channels you might receive and what direction their transmitter is located.
It would serve if you added a comment with your fastener code and what kind of antennas you tried, otherwise the answers you grasp will be very nonspecific since you cold be located anywhere in the English speaking world)
2. Ask neighbors what loving of antennas they use.
3. Recognize that TV signals cannot travel through metal objects, This includes aluminum siding, metal foil backed insulation, and cable mesh. Are there such things between your antenna and the TV transmitting antennas, you will hold to move your antenna.
4. Experiment. Indoor antennas can be extremely finicky, try moving it around. In dry weather, you could move it outside or hold it out the window surrounded by the direction of the transmitting antennas.
5. Some people enjoy had luck building within own UHF (US analog channels 14-69) antennas, see the ultimate couple of links below.
