When i power on my tv, everything works just fine. I own a 52" Philips Magnavox tv (it has a tube it in), that i purchased for over $1000 something like 6 years ago. i havent used it in two years. Today i turned it on, and it seem just fine. Then after more or less 5 minutes. The picture got smaller on adjectives four sides, and sometimes the sides turned red or blue. The picture smaller picture also moved on the screen to different areas, while the rest of the peak stayed black. it would then run back to its imaginative size. i tryed plugging it in threw a power conditioner but duplicate thing happen. can anyone tell me whats wrong near my telivison and if its worth fixing?
Answers: not worth fixing trust me... basically the laser that shoots the colors rays is screwed up.... as all right the electronic board would need soldering too they prolly would translate the filter as well but when you give up the labour charges its a idle away of money.. get a plasma or LCD for 800 $ and label sure you use a belkin surge protector and AV regulator so the power is consistent:
