What gas/odor/etc does an LCD TV bequeath bad?

I recently bought 3 LCD TV's (and returned 2 that weren't worth the money). However, I notice that on all 3, whenever I walk into the room they were surrounded by, I could smell a weird odor. It's not strong or even fruitless really and I dont know how to explain it really. I just required to know if it is harmful or ok.

Have you ever walk into an electronics store, did you smell anything there? I am an electronics technician, the smell you detect is coming from the circuits inside the tv. When the circuits procure warm, the non conductive plastics board on the which the circuit is printed on also get warm and its that smell of the plastic you smell. Since your LCD tv is brand you, it will impart off greatly of that plastic smell. But after couple of month plastic will get in step to the heat and little by little nearby won't be any smell. Guaranteed!
