I have a large scratch across my 42" plasma screen can it be replaced?
Answer:
OUCH,
this is really going to hurt, but it looks like you need a new tv,UNLESS you got an extended warranty which covers ACCIDENTS, cos the manufacture ( even inside the 12 months will just laugh at you ) doesn't cover you.
You might be really lucky to get one from your household insurance, but normally there is a clause that stops you claiming.
sorry buddy wg
HA! thats the breaks bud.
I suspect not.
It depends, is the TV still under guarantee or is it insured?? If so you will only be able to get a replacement if the scratch occured due to some other reason than getting damaged by yourself!! I find it difficult however to imagine the TV getting scratched for no reason what-so-ever so it may be unlikely that you will entitled to a replacement since they will suspect the TV got scratched due to mishandling, which is not covered by warranty
do u have a warranty? if so then yes!
not that i know. my dad has try to get one fixed and couldn't, sorry mate maybe be more careful next time.
I afraid not. You may want to see about a home owners insurance claim. It is not able to be replaced even at a service center. Not even at assembly plant its part of the whole deal. You may consider calling a glass company and seeing if they can patch it.
No way of replacement, as the front glass is part of the screen laminate. Your best bet is household insurance. Most won't cover you for a scratch, but would cover you if it happened to fall on its face whilst being carefully relocated!
