Should I connect my new DVD player to my cable box or directly to the TV?

The DVD player its Toshiba and the TV s a ViewSonic LCD HD

Answer:
I'd connect it to the TV. The DVD and the cable box don't have anything to do with each other. That's how ours is anyway.

I can't imagine hooking a DVD player to a cable box. It always goes directly to the TV. Are you going to answer Jorge's question?
