Depends on the source feed. Be careful of Circuit City and them, because they will feed a better signal to the tv's that they are trying to sell so that they look better, but in reality may be the lesser quality of the two. Plasma is best for standard tv, dlp is best for large screens, and lcd uses least amount of electricity and weighs the least. When asking at the store, be sure to ask that you can see a HD feed on all tv's you are considering, so that they don't con you into buying a crappy tv for lots of money.

Rather than have someone tell you, why not go look for yourself. Especially since you're not including LCD. My DLP provides a super picture but I recommend that people compare for themselves.
Personally I believe its Plasma I've been looking at new TVs for months now deciding which one I want to buy and I'm pretty set on a Samsung Plasma the picture is just amazing.
