I have a 7 year old quasar tv. Its 27 inch picture tube. When i turn the TV on it has a week picture and flickers a lot, The screen goes completely dark then comes back, dark again etc. If I tap on the TV it seems to go to normal for a minute or so and then starts flickering again. After about 30 mins of this the TV seems to get "warm" and then the picture is stable and perfect. No tapping required. Next day I have to do this all over again. Is it worth my time trying to fix this. (I have experience fixing small electronics around the house) Or is it time to get a new one? Tx in advance.
