I have a trial plasma TV and I want to know if there is any course to upconvert my SD signal coming from my dish receiver to 720p. I'm not sure if these exist but why couldn't they if you can upconvert a dvd or enjoy your TV upconvert local TV channels. I would call for it to convert from composite to component. Thanks!
Answers: Your TV already upconvers all inputs, including video from composite jacks. However, nearby is so much upconversion can do to a 480i signal (240 lines per field!).
If you want to buy something, buy an HD off-the-air antenna, digital cable, or satellite.
You want to buy a HEATH KIT....
They may own an UPconverting kit available....bar that you won't find anyone making or selling a standalone upconverter.....
