JVC AV48P777 48 surrounded by tv?

this TV is a projecter CRT it playes 1080i , but i have a blue gleam dvd player when i put a movie on it doesent come out clear at all! I even purchase the HD Cable to see if it would relief but it didnt can anybody give me support or tell me what im doing wrong.


Answers:    It's not a blue movie is it perchance that's the trouble!!
THE DVD must be Blu-Ray....without it you individual get a 480P signal instead of a 1080P signal....

That's really low definition contained by comparison to 1080....
