Help with digibox please?

after installation we were left disappointed as few channels worked properly without stuttering and interference. I suspect the arial may need upgrading. would this be an expensive job? is it worth doing? could the problem be anything else?

Had the same problem, this was fixed bu buying an amplifier for abot £10 from argos. Although I later upgraded the arial and got about an extra 10 channels. It cost me £45 to have a new arial installed. Hope this helps.
if its a freeview box then i had the same problem,i bought a signal booster box and it works fine now,you can also buy a freeview aerial that sits on top of your tv and i think they are around £15
best to upgrade aerial and then you will get all channels
Before spending money see if your aerial is pointing in the right direction. If it's only a couple of degrees away from direct line with the transmitter you will suffer a significant signal loss.

It is a feature of digital broadcasting that a weak signal will cause picture failure (manifest sometimes as 'blocking'). Analogue signals would cause a 'gracefull' degeneration of the picture.
