Allways have standard crt tv's, slowly get feed up next to tv picture .?

what i mean is the tv picture no longer fitting the blind ,so i got a widescreen tv individual to find the same problem. i give the impression of being to get tons of unused screen nouns, or to fill the blind now loses the outside of the picture,i.e some of the writing will be out of verbs .also changing formats distorts the emblem,so how do we what is correct anymore.(i could go on).

Answers:    At present, we're stuck between two standards.... the "old" 4:3 and the "new" (albeit over 10 years antediluvian!) 16:9 "widescreen" format. Gradually more content will be broadcast in widescreen, so accept with it. I agree it's a torment in the ar$e though!!

Apparently Virgin are varying all broadcasts to widescreen from the come to an end of this month?
i think this is basically down to the broadcaster, for example the black lines across the top and bottom of the screen i conjecture you are trying to describe. They can decide whether to show a programme within full screen or build it more widescreen, which doesnt fill the integral tv screen. It can be annoying and i ahve watch a program before and it keep changing throughout.
