Is nearby any manifest difference between a 6ms response time and 8ms response time?

I'm almost certain I want a 32" Sony Bravia LCD. It have a 8ms response time and it 720p. There is a Sharp Aquos for maybe $100 more that have a 6ms response time. I mainly survey sports. Any big difference? There is also a 32" 1080p version to be precise around 1100 but I don't know if I need 1080 next to such a small TV. So anyway is the difference noticable?

Answers:    The sony will actualy deal next to motion better then the sharp. Response time is just part of the equation and between those two your difference is awfully small. The processor in the sony will do a much better errand in dealing next to motion then the sharp will. As far as your 1080 res put somebody through the mill goes unless your sitting practialy near your nose against the set you wont describe a difference in that size. Not to mention the reality that you will not see any sports in 1080p for a couple years any ways. Overall, I would suggest going into your local retailer and asking them to display a in haste moving image beside both sets side by side so that you can compare them.
not much.

Big difference between 2 ms and 30 ms though.
