If you want the best lcd television for the money.... if your looking to rescue cash step with a lcd -dlp box. It is the same as a regular flat lcd however the picture is flipside projection. You can easiltyfind a 50 inch 1080p dlp-lcd tv that can also be your pc monitor & hold a way better picture than the ole 1024x768 lcd notebook monitors w/ multiple hdmi connectors, vga, wiselink etc. I got a Samsung 50" 1080p for the kids room for 800 bucks spanking new. The best is a regular 1080p lcd flat. However be ready to fork out roughly 3000+ depending on what you get. The TV looks amazing, the kids are more than joyous, I saved money. Thats how ya collect a buck in the TV souk.
I am a TV salesman and while there are TV's I would buy over others, I wouldn't voice all TV's suck. Vizio's if truth be told get really lofty reviews for the price point so I wouldn't entirely rule those out if you're on a budget.
