Does playing video games on a plasma tv injure the tv?

You will read lots of guides and articles online that say playing games on a plasma TV will generate burn-in. If you look obligingly you will notice adjectives those guides are old. You will find consumer comments proverb they have burn-in but those are also from family with elder plasma TVs.
Older models of plasma TVs had problems beside burn-in but the new ones don't get hold of permanent burn-in. They with the sole purpose get depiction retention (witch looks like burn-in but is single temporary) and that gets fixed after watching a regular content for a few minutes. The piece is that even CRT TVs get photograph retention but of course you don't mind it because nobody wrote articles to terrify you.
