With adjectives these storms around lately I come home and my ps3 and tv arent working. Can they be fixed ?
Answers: Difficult to say. The reality the other equipment (presumably) plugged into the same 'power board' are OK is a well-mannered sign. Maybe the foxtel and DVD player got slightly better protection ... or perchance part of the power board get fried.
I'd suggest plugging the TV and PS3 directly into an outlet that you know is working (e.g plug in a light first to test). If still nothing, you own a problem. But how serious it is would require some testing. I'd consider taking to a service shop for a high-speed examination.
If they are 'blown', if the 'power board' be supposed to be a surge protector did it have any warranty? Some do and if equipment get fried you have a claim.
Whether you be unlucky (they are fried) or not (something minor is the problem), in adjectives you will, I'm sure, always plug gauzy electronics into a GOOD surge protector.
Good luck.
Maybe you blew a fuse, check your fuse box sometimes your plug will still work but it won't have adequate power to run bigger things, also you should have surge protectors on every tv and expensive things especially if you can't other be there to unplug them that will protect them when you cannot!
