Is that true that TV bandwidth be reduce? if then, how can our standard TV sets be used?

Answer: If you are talking about the FCC making all broadcasters switch to digital in Feb. of 2009 then you will need to get something with a digital tuner in it to watch TV off an antenna. I just picked up a DVD recorder with an ATSC (digital) tuner in it from Walmart for $150.00. Without digital I only get 12 channels, but with digital I get 35. This DVD recorder a year ago would have cost over $400.00, and the prices will probably continue to drop.

As for the reduced bandwidth, channels 51 on up will be reclaimed by the FCC for re-allocation to other services, such as fire and police radio use. But since everything will be digital and you can compress 5 channels into what analog uses as 1 channel we are still in the good.
No, where did you here that? There are actually more channels than there is bandwidth on cable. The cable companies are finding ways to to make more bandwidth. One way is to start using fiber to the home, like Verizon is doing.
