OK, mom just bought a nice LCD HDTV. If I hook the cable directly into it, I win sound but no picture and thus no means of access to access the menu. The "input" button doesn't work, either on the remote or the TV itself. With no menu and no other feeds to work next to, I'm about at the hinder of my troubleshooting skills. Does anybody else think it's in recent times broken?
Answers: Return the set for another one. You shouldn't need any signal on the tv to bring up the menu. here is a problem internally in the set.
it should auto switch. if you can't switch it manually any there's no signal. if you're using a scart lead engender sure it has adjectives 21 pins connected, some only use 9 pins. try borrowing another organize first then assume the worst.
