My TV is whistling almost all the time .it only stops for a while then it stsrts to make sound again ,it used to stop when I hit it,but Now it won't.what could be the problem.
P.S. I have already opened it and I don't know what to do.
It is a Daewoo.

Answer:
This is a very common fault and a very common question on here but I will give you brief idea to save you looking at all the previous questions, the whistle is almost certainly coming from an inductor ( coil ) in the line section which is where the transformer with the thick lead comes out the top and goes to the pic tube bowl. Now with a plastic tool or lump of wood like a skewer while the set is whistling press each of these inductors that you can see , if the whistle stop when one is pressed then you have found the culprit , you can apply a bit of hot melt glue to it or similar. Good luck on this. Cheers Pete

The coils may look like bobbins of wire about 1 inch high ,if you can`t indent them just press gently on all the parts that you see , you may be able to hear where the whistle comes from aproximately, Cheers Pete
You say it is a Daewoo. Sounds like it is a DEADooo
