hi all..hold just purchased 42" philips lcd tv..while dvd thru component cable output is awsome, i am not at all getting same picture trait on tata sky...there is no sharpness contained by image at adjectives..since the tata box doesnot have component out ports and no svideo port, any opinion how to improve picture power? my viewing distance is approx 11 feets
Answers: No channel contained by India is HD. So even if the TV is HD, its not getting an HD signal.
DVD content in India is superior to Tatasky. Even if your DVD player is an elderly one, the content will look better than the tatasky. If you have an upconverting DVD player, it's adjectives the more better.
You can however improve the overall picture aspect by adjusting your display. Use a THX optimizer from THX DVD's
or a faithful disc like Avia or Digital Video Essentials to fine tune your TV.
