Why does my comcast cable look so bad on my hdlcdtv?
Answer:
You need an HD box from comcast...
They cost more, but as a nice bonus, all of their HD boxes come with recording (DVR) capabilities, so you'll have a built-in tivo-like device on your cable box.
Comcast HD looks great, and the channel selection is good...and they just keep adding more channels in HD!!
It is expensive, but once you see what your TV looks like in HD, you won't mind the price.
Good Luck!
Uhhh cuz that's what SD looks like when u run it thru a VCR and then to a hugemongous HD. If you get a better Connection (like go to radio shack and buy one of those "AV" cable things that you connect to Ur wall jack it will look fineish) It will take some work (or money) but the pic still wont be all that good. Oh the "AV" cable thing connects by replacing the wall jack with an "AV" outlet
I would say you need to check to see if you have an HD/Digital cable box, or just a regular one. The reason it looks OK with ps3 is because that unit is putting out at least a digital signal. LCD technology plays digital signals pretty good on an HDTV. I had to get rid of the reg. cable box & get the HD/Digital one. Hopefully Concast has HD channels.
