Ariel for TV?

Bought a new TV and bit confused, I own a socket in the wall which I guess is the outside Ariel, What front would I need to connect my TV and outdoor ariel?

Is in that anything else I should connect my tv to to get the best picture?

Many gratefulness,

Answers:    its a standard set up, and you can get this type of head anywhere. usually the socket in the wall is 'female' as is the TV set... so you involve a male to masculine co-ax connector lead.

you shouldn't entail anything else unless you live in a unbelievably poor signal area
if you are using a digibox (freeview) or TV consequently it 'could' be the case that your receiver is not good satisfactory for digital signals.
if that is the bag, you may want to invest in a spanking new digital rooftop aerial installation.
don't be tempt to get a set top in-flight
generally speaking an hoary analogue rooftop aerial is better for unloading signals than even a new digital set top in-flight
AN aerial front which you get from B&Q etc
