My TV recently became blurry while I was playing a video game. This was a sudden change and no video settings were altered. The picture is extremely blurry to the point where I can't read the menus. This is true for all video inputs. I looked inside and all three lamps seem to be working fine. I am wondering if this may be a common problem that can be repaired myself. Any input would be appreciated.
Answer:
RCA is junk. I've being waiting for 6 months to get my tv fixed thru RCA. Your 52" I believe is the one that has been shorting out and sometimes may start a fire. Here is a web site with 100's of forums on RCA
http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/... , I've read them all about 8 months ago and I know theirs some information on 52" models, however can not be 100% sure it's your model. If it was a DLP I could help you but more than likely you'll need a tv tech to check it out. Also, you would be better to buy a new TV if they have to work on it because they charge a fortune. Good Luck.
You can double check all the connections, but I have a feeling it is a convergence issue and you will need a technician realign the images.
If the TV menues are blurry, then you need to call a repair center to take a look at it.
