LCD HD TV Damaged?

Over the weekend I was doing some cleaning when a bottle smashed on my glass tv table and my 32" lcd screen fell through it and unfortunately the screen has got cracked inside.

The tv table did not go with the tv. I was just wondering is there any chance Philips would replace it for me, its only about 3 months old. I know its a long shot but it was such an expensive tv.

Your help and advice would be great!

Rob

Answer:
Really sorry rob, but every brand not just Philips, won't cover this kind of damage in their warranty system. Unless you have other type of warranty which cover accidental damaged like this.
For this kind of damaged you need to change the LCD panel and it ain't cheap
What are the chances that the "crack" was already there?

I've never had a problem with Phillips customer service. I once had a $300 faulty item replace free of charge while under the one year warranty and no questions asked. You can call them up and "tell them" what "happened" and see if you can get a replacement or repaired.

A big purchase like that is always a good idea to get the warranties that the store tries to pawn on you. Some of them covers accidents. You can also check with your home or rentals insurance and see if its covered.
