Can You Help w/ me my HDTV Sound?

Im trying to make it so my hi def channel will work with my stereo as ably as my regular channels, right presently only the non hi def channel work, if I got an HDMI cable and hooked it through my stereo would it work near hi def and non hi def?

Answers:    It should....you will need to connect your cable/satellite box into your stereo first, later go to the TV set ultimate....

Another way to do it is to give up your job your present stereo cable connected for your low def channels and you MIGHT FIND an optical output on your TV set that handle the HD stations from your TV....

It's kinda hard to know what you own without a Brand, a model number and the TYPE of TV it is, similar to an LCD or DLP or Plasma....

I can look up quite a few models and instruction booklets online....

Worst satchel, you need to read your instruction booklet for your TV set to see how to get hold of audio output in HD from your TV set.....
Yes. You want to tell your audio addressee to play whatever nouns it is getting. It will play 5.1, 6.1, 7.1 if you send it contained by on an HDMI cable (and the source has multi-channel audio).
