How these specifications grades a plasma tv??

how would you GRADE this plasma tv?
EXCELLENT/GOOD/NOT BAD/BAD

852 x 480 Resolution ,
16:9 Aspect Ratio,
10000:1 Contrast Ratio ,
1500 cd / m2 Brightness ,
16.7 million Display colors ,
Picture 3D Comb Filter .
Progressive Scanning

Answer:
The only two things I see that could be considered good are 16:9 and progressive scan.

852 x 480 is like regular TV - not even close to HDTV which has a minimum spec of 1280 x 720. Your picture will be grainy when compared to an HD television. Unless you're getting this plasma set for some ridiculously low price I would rate it as BAD!
its not HD so i would rate it bad. Try to get one w/ at least 1024x768 resolution. Don't get no name brands either b/c they have horrible picture and break easily.
It is OK. It is not true HD but would give you a decent picture with HD. The contrast ratio given is an absolute lie. No Plasma TV is capable of better than 250:1 contrast under the best conditions if it measured to ANSI checker board pattern. It would be far better than any current Tube TV.
CAVEAT: it will look good with HD and progressive scan DVDs. It will look really bad on regular non HD programming. It may be nearly unwatchable on college basketball. Runco, Pioneer, and Panasonic would be in the top three as far as making the Non HD stuff look decent.
