Would it be worth the time and money to repair a projection Television?
1. How much would it cost for a repairman to come and estimate my repairs?
2. Would I need a latest bulb, and How much would it cost for repairs?
3. Is it even worth it?
Thanks
Answers: I have a HITACHI 52" reverse proj tv. 4 years old, cost me $1300 at Sam's. If the bulb/s be to go out soon, it would be more cost effectual for me to buy a new HD tv. I subtract the value of my tv have gone down to about $500, save less. Would it be cost successful to have it repaired? with the sole purpose if it was $200 or smaller number to fix. I love this tv. However, pretty soon with the technology shifting so fast, it will attain harder to find parts to fix these obsolete backside projection tv's. I hope this helped you opt. Good luck!
First of all how outmoded is it....having it fixed will cost you just about 700 bucks.....1/2 the price of a new HDTV. If it's a bulb, you can find bulbs on the network and sometimes you can put them in yourself....but you call for to make sure its the bulb within the first place.....But really, if its projection, and NOT an HDTV I would bite the bullet an purchase a new one. You'd receive the best out of your money on it..
