I have looked on Which.
I particurlarly want some advice on LCD and Plasma.

most sites will be biased if they sell products. I recommend consumer reports for an unbiased review. Your local library will have a copy of the most recent Home theater/ TV issue they produce every year. note models will be a year older than what is available but it gets you headed in the right direction to pick a newer model.
It's very difficult to find a site with all consumer reviews, and if you find it, you will need another life to read all comments. I think you must select one model and after look for reviews. I found TVs here:
