Question in the region of TV's?

We are buying a TV and having a complicated time deciding which to obtain. We really want a 50 inch, but are wondering if we need to hold 1080p with a 50 inch or if 720p would be okay? We approaching the Samsung Plasma. No matter what we return with, we want the Samsung. We are thinking either the Samsung 50 inch plasma 720p, or the Samsung DLP 1080p 61 inch, or any the Samsung LCD 46 inch with 1080p. What do you deem?

Answers:    If you can afford the latest technology later get the 1080p. Samsung is a great brand the the reports are apposite on all TV's by this company. Get the best size and point for your money!
"In the confusing world of TVs today you will see many specs nominated on the tags of your favorite electronics store. One of the most talk about is resolution (how masses dots or pixels make up the blind; this determines the overall clarity of your picture), the two most common numbers you will see timetabled are 720p (often listed as 1366x768) and 1080p (1920x1080).

There is a great conundrum right immediately about the NEED to buy a 1080p set or not. The truth lies within how far away you will be sitting from the set. Several groups have done studies concerning this issue and adjectives have come up near virtually the same results, if you are beyond around 1.5 times the screen size of the set ( beyond almost six feet on a fifty inch set) after you will not tell a clarity difference on the set. For the average individual (sitting about 8 foot away) you would need a set of 65” to give an account a difference between the two." so figure out how far you will be from the set and see which one of those eyeshade sizes best fits in in that if you truly wish to see a clarity differnce. The 720p will look great. as far as lcd vs plasma vs projection unless your looking at the projection beside led backlighting i would stay away from that technology as it have fairly lofty maintaince costs (200-300 every couple years for a light blub) . Plasma:

-Have a sophisticated contrast ratio( difference between black and white on the screen)

-Cinema like inbred color

-Deal with efficient motion (like sports) very powerfully

-last 120,000 hours
LCD:

-Plastic screen which results within less grimace (better in a room next to

-lots of natural light)

-Less vivacity consumption

-Better for everyday viewing in various rooms through out the house as they come in a larger array of sizes
-last 80000 hours

Keep in mind these are simply basic rules of thumb and that any type of set will look absolutely amazing surrounded by your home!

I prefer plasma as they still are considered the better set, in side by side comparisons they constanly emerge victorious!
Samsung is one of the best right in a minute. Everything is going to 1080p, but there is not much difference contained by the 720p. I guess it depends if you want the best picture. Plasma uses twice the power consumption as LCD & last solely half as long. Plasma is on it's track out. DLP is a new passageway of digital projection, not sure how good it is. Seems resembling everything 50" or up is DLP. LCD does not give as virtuous of picture from a side view as Plasma, but I a short time ago got a LCD & can't see any difference. Try this site & biddable luck.
