Which is the best plasma/lcd tv for around 1000 bucks?

Mama told me to shop around.

Answer:
Here's a deal you should take.

$999 (includes shipping, but add tax) for a 42" LCD. Great specs, 2xHDMI, HD tuner, nothing to complain about. Plus a great return policy from Costco.

People pitching you garbage from QVC or 37" or even 32"? Bah!
the hdtv plasma astar is about 16 inches I have it and it works great bought it from QVC for about 800$
I found that Poloriod makes a good LCD TV at a reasonable price. I bought the 32" FLM-323B for about $750 and love it. Now it's selling at Walmart for under $700. For $1000 I am sure you could get the 37" they have. Check walmart.com.
Sony Bravia. My dad bought it, it is awesome. I recommend you to buy it is the best.
samsung LN-S3238D is a great deal that found at www. walmart.com it seems to have the top line qualities and big name brand for a cheap price.
