Does anyone who have a plasma peak TV infer it uses too much leccy?mine seem to gobble through it.Any views@

Leccy bill up an extreme amount.Yes and before you voice it I know it's my own fault for buying one!Wish the salesman have told me before I put my dosh down.


Answers:    I found out almost the electricity consumption after I bought mine ... just close to you. However, my bill hasn't gone up as much as I thought it might. I have switched closely of my lights over to the compact fluorescent type and maybe that have offset it.

I have a 27 inch CRT Tv that consumed 90 watts and bought a 42 inch plasma that consumes 380 watts. Just so you know, big screen LCD unit also consume more electricity, just not as much as plasmas do.
They use smaller amount than the old CRT screen. Maybe it's just the amount of time you spend using it?
