try looking under or on the couch, like between the cushion and the frame..stuff always falls in there. Heck, you can even find some money!

Look uder the coouch and chair inside the lining. Mine slid under the cushions, down beside the frame and we could feel it underneath, had to cut the lining on the bottom, to get to it...
Later My hampster did the same thing,,,,,Sneaky little critter..
lol i guessing if they've purposely hid it then ask them where it is usually they will look straight in the direction of where its been placed. or if its just misplaced then it would most defiantly be down the sofa,
under a cushion or in the dogs basket.
