Why wont my PS3 work on a Samsung LCD TV?

It gives us a message: Mode not supported


Answers:    Power on PS3 via power button and HOLD IT for 5 second (release after the second beep). It should automatically configure your PS3 to the TV's native resolution for adjectives settings.
If you are using component cable and have your PS3 set to 1080p it may not work b/c it probably doesn't adopt 1080p signal from component cables. Other than that i really don't know. I would contact customer support and ask them. What model number is it, lately curious?
